Founded in the 1920s in South London by Arthur Henry Hepburn (1884 - 1948) the firm has continued over the years to build on his reputation for integrity and sound legal advice.

His two sons Arthur Charles Hepburn (1910-1975) and Reginald Walter Hepburn (1913-1983) succeeded Henry. They both contributed to the continued success of the firm. In particular Arthur was involved in litigation with the oil majors over "petrol ties" and contributed significantly to the development of this area of the law.

No member of the family currently practise in the firm. Although Arthur's son followed him into the law, he decided to further his career in the somewhat sunnier climate of the Bahamas!

The present partners have endeavoured to shape and build the firm on the foundations laid by the Hepburn family. Their aim is to provide their clients, both in the local and wider community, with excellent service and sound advice.
